Sequoia

Here she is at 15 months. She is now taller than her mother, Angel. (7/27/04) Unfortunately, she thinks she is a lap dog. Below, you'll find pictures of the day she was born.

It appears that mom Angel did a good job all on her own.(4/4/03) Sequoia has 4 white stockings, a white blaze, and will probably be white underneath with a brown back.

Bonnie feeds Angel some senior feed to calm her down.

Here we go...proof that this is an Olivas horse. It's her first poopy! Hey, somebody get her a newspaper and a cup of coffee!

After all our preparations and vigilance, Angel had the baby right in the middle of our back yard.

\
Angel urges the baby to move around. It's important for Sequoia to stretch those muscles and tendons right away. Angel seems to know exactly what she is doing.

Sequoia says hi to Bonnie and Janique. So far, they are the only two that Angel feels comfortable with. The other horses and dogs (and me) are not allowed to get this close.

Mom and daughter doing fine.
