The Olivas family has suffered a great loss and we are in mourning. Time has passed since Jose Magaña passed away and I am just now finding the words to express our sorrow. He died at 2 am on June 28th at the University Medical Center in Tucson, Az, a victim of an infection in his brain. The details are hard to explain, but the message we hope to convey to all of you is the kind of person he was. As you can see by the picture, he was an exemplary father to his daughter Marisol 4, son Joseph 13 and stepson Patrick 20. He was also a loving husband to wife Patty and will be greatly missed by parents Josefina and Jose Sr. and his brother Mike and his family. The Olivas family loved this man, with his gentle nature, his commitment to his extended family and his sense of honor. Of one thing we are sure...after all the pain and suffering...he is in heaven and will never be forgotten.
